Rung half muffled by the local band to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Lord Frederick John Robinson, first Earl of Ripon, who died on 28th January 1859.
Lord Ripon lived with his family at Nocton Hall and owned the Nocton Estate. All Saints Church was built as a memorial to Lord Ripon, being dedicated to All Saints as he was born on All Saints Day (1st November) and the peal of six bells were given by his wife Lady Sarah Albinia Louisa Robinson, Countess of Ripon in memory of him.

Rung half muffled by a local band in memory of Leslie Walker who sadly passed away on Friday 30th January 2009 at the age of 91. Leslie was Churchwarden here at St. Andrew’s for many years. He was a great supporter of the Church and a loyal member of the congregation.
Before the bells where rehung and augmented from three to six in 2004 Leslie would often chime the tenor before Services. He was also a great supporter of the Village sitting on many different village committees including the Christ Hospital Endowment.
The Quarter was rung immediately prior to the funeral service and afterwards a 480 of Grandsire Doubles was rung with the bells open.
The band wish to associate Ron Applewhite, local ringer with this Quarter. Ron had intended to ring but had to drop out due to ill health. Many thanks to Gerald for standing in at the last minute and to Graham Whittaker for coming over to ring after the funeral.

Rung to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the bells being re-hung and augmented from 3 to 6 by Hayward Mills Associates of Nottingham.
The bells were first rung as a 6 at the try out at 12 noon on Saturday 4th September 2004 before the dedication service which was held on the same day at 3pm.
The Quarter was specially arranged and rung by a band of local ringers who helped and supported the bell fund and restoration between May 1999 and September 2004.
Rung remembering Sue Scouller local ringer to whom the fourth is dedicated, Libby Bailey to whom the third is dedicated and Molly Applewhite who’s birthday it would have been today and who was a great supporter of the bells.

Rung half muffled by the local band prior to the Funeral Service and in memory of the Reverend Terrence Stokes who sadly passed away on Saturday 3rd October 2009 at the age of 74. Terry had very kindly been taking services at All Saints Nocton for over the past two years during the interregnum, acting as Honorary Priest. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
The Quarter Peal was followed by whole pull and stand which was rung up to service time. The bells were then again rung half muffled immediately after the Funeral Service as members of the Clergy and Congregation left the Church and made their way to the Crematorium and Village Hall.
Terry took his last service at Nocton on 30th August 2009.

Prior to the official opening of the Feast the back four original bells dating from 1620 were rung to call people to the Feast.

Reverend Anson was a great friend to the village of Potterhanworth and was responsible for the rebuilding of the present Church in 1856, the building of the new village school known as the “Anson School” in 1855 and the re-hanging of the original three bells (the present back three) in 1858.
